Companies holding employee files, collecting CVs and saving email addresses all have responsibilities under data protection legislation. Every year our ability to gather, hold and mine vast quantities of data seems to increase exponentially. Data is now a valuable commodity. This new reality places many legal responsibilities upon companies when collecting and holding data.

Inc60™ and Mayo County Council will hold a 60 minute session at Lionbridge in Ballina on the subject of Data Protection and Privacy in Ireland. It will feature a presentation and discussion led by Mr. Robert Haniver, Senior Associate at Mason Hayes and Curran. This will be followed by a Q&A session with Robert where participants can ask questions about their companies and their data.

Inc60™ is an Educational Business Network founded in Co. Mayo. At Inc60™ their philosophy is that location should not be a barrier to getting the best business advice. If you’re thinking of setting up a business, are self-employed or employ 100+ people – then Inc60™ you should join their growing community.

This Inc60™ Live is held in partnership with Mayo County Council. It is generously hosted by Lionbridge Inc60™ is supported kindly by the Mayo Local Enterprise Office.
